Refunds & Cancellations
Payments are generally not refundable.
This page explains when that takes effect and why. Please read it before you enroll — and if anything is unclear, ask us on the phone before you pay anything.

Summary
Due to the nature of our recruiting services, work begins immediately after enrollment. This includes recruiting strategy development, athlete evaluations, communication planning, and preparation for outreach. Because services begin promptly and involve consulting work that takes considerable time, payments are generally not refundable once onboarding has started.
Enrollment is a commitment for the full program term, and payment obligations — including installments under any payment plan or outside financing — continue for that term. This policy is disclosed here before purchase, restated in your service agreement, and acknowledged in writing at enrollment.
Why this policy exists
This is not a policy designed to keep money from families who change their minds. It exists because of how this specific service works. Three things happen the moment an athlete enrolls, and none of them can be undone.
1. Enrollment reserves a limited place
We take on a limited number of athletes per recruiting class. That cap is what makes the work possible — coach relationships, individual advocacy, and direct access all depend on the roster staying small. When your son enrolls, that place closes to every other family for that cycle, and families who inquired after him are turned away or placed in a later class.
A place given up partway through the cycle cannot be refilled. The recruiting calendar does not restart, and another family cannot begin in the middle of a period they have missed.
2. The program is built immediately
Substantive work begins as soon as an athlete is enrolled, and most of it happens before a family sees any visible outcome. That includes evaluation and positional assessment, building the target school list, writing the recruiting plan and calendar, reviewing and organizing film, setting up and optimizing the recruiting profile, and researching and assembling coach contacts.
This groundwork is the majority of the labor in a recruiting program. It is delivered early precisely so the outreach that follows is effective.
3. Outreach cannot be recalled
The core of this service is putting an athlete in front of college coaching staffs. Once film, communications, and an athlete's information have been sent to college programs, that outreach exists permanently. It cannot be withdrawn, unsent, or returned.
The value of that work is delivered at the moment it is performed, not at the moment a coach happens to reply. Interest frequently surfaces weeks or months after the outreach that caused it. A refund after that point would mean returning payment for work that has already produced its result and cannot be taken back.
When onboarding has started
Onboarding is considered started, and payments not refundable, as soon as any of the following has occurred — whichever happens first:
- An evaluation or recruiting plan has been prepared
- A roster place has been reserved for the athlete's recruiting class
- Film, a profile, or an athlete's information has been sent to any college program
- Any scheduled program session has taken place
The first 72 hours
If you change your mind within 72 hours of enrolling and onboarding has not yet started — no evaluation prepared, no film reviewed, no outreach sent — write to us at support@hvos.net and we will cancel the enrollment and refund what you have paid in full.
Because work usually begins quickly, this window is genuinely short. Once any of the conditions above has been met, it no longer applies.
What is not grounds for a refund
To be explicit, so that nobody is surprised later, the following do not qualify:
- A change of mind, or a decision to work with another recruiting service
- The athlete choosing to stop playing football, or leaving his team or school
- The athlete or family not completing their own part of the plan
- Not receiving a scholarship offer, or not receiving offers from specific programs
- Dissatisfaction with the level of interest shown by college coaches
On that last point, we want to be as clear here as we are on the phone: we do not guarantee offers. No honest person in this business can. What is being paid for is the work — the strategy, the film, the outreach, and the advocacy — not a particular outcome. Any service that promises you an outcome is not telling you the truth.
What we do offer instead
A refund is not the only way to deal with a situation that changes. If something genuinely disrupts your son's recruiting, talk to us:
- Medical pause. If a significant injury interrupts his recruiting, we will pause the program and resume it when he is cleared, at no additional cost.
- Class year transfer. If his timeline shifts — reclassification, a redshirt year, a transfer — the program moves with him rather than being lost.
- Scope change. If what he needs turns out to be different from what we planned, we adjust the work rather than canceling it.
Payment plans and financing
Where a program is paid in installments, or financed through a outside provider, your obligation to complete those payments continues for the full agreed amount. Canceling participation does not cancel the balance.
Outside financing is a separate agreement between you and that provider, governed by its own terms. Questions about installments, interest, or payment dates should go to them. Questions about the recruiting program itself come to us.
Before you dispute a charge
If you are unhappy with something, please contact us directly first. Most problems are a misunderstanding about what stage the work is at, and we would far rather fix that on a phone call than through a bank.
Reach us at (770) 605-5314 or support@hvos.net. We respond to every message. Filing a chargeback for services that have been delivered may be treated as a breach of your service agreement, but we would rather resolve it long before it gets anywhere near that.
Your acknowledgment
By enrolling in a recruiting program with HVOS College Athletics, you confirm that you have read this policy, that you understand enrollment is a commitment for the full program term, and that you understand payments are generally not refundable once onboarding has started.
Questions
Ask before you pay, not after. If any part of this is unclear, raise it on our call and we will walk you through it.
